West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil water advisory for customers of the Tornado area along Greenview Road, Angel Fork, Smith Creek Road and Falls Creek Road. The advisory was issued Sunday for these areas after a water main break caused a water service disruption.

Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards, and there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption. West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with other West Virginia American Water customers in the affected area listed above.
